LEVON TER-PETROSYAN’S RIGHTS VIOLATED: ECHR RULES IN FAVOR OF ARMENIA’S FIRST PRESIDENT

European Court of Human Rights has published the decision on Levon Ter-Petrosyan against Armenia, representative of Armenia’s first president in ECHR, lawyer Vahe Grigoryan reported.
He reminded that the application was submitted in 2008 August 30 and related to the violation of rights of conduction peaceful rallies as well as absence of effective protection means in Armenia, arrest of Armenia's first president in Liberty Square and restriction of his free movement from March 1 to 20, 2008 as well as violation of his rights.
