Thaci says that he reaffirmed readiness of Kosovo side to dialogue and reaching of a final legally-binding agreement with Serbia. “After Montenegro’s membership in NATO, as well as the agreement between Greece and Macedonia, now it is a historic chance for Kosovo and Serbia to reach an agreement, which would solve once and forever disagreements and will create a clear perspective for membership into the EU,” Thaci said according to a press release issued by President’s press service.

According to Thaci during all the meetings he had in New York, he got full support on reaching of an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, as a precondition for a sustainable peace in Balkans.  “On the other hand Federica Mogherini has announced a more dynamic process of dialogue, and has offered her and the EU’s support on facilitating this not so easy process, but necessary for opening of the perspective for both countries,” it is stated in the press release.
