Chief of parliamentary group of LDK, Avdullah Hoti, says the dialogue with Serbia should be continued with consent of two thirds of votes in Parliament. In a Facebook post, Hoti said every other option of dialogue with Serbia is illegitimate and unconstitutional. Hoti made two proposals for continuation of the EU facilitated dialogue with Serbia. “Considering that current institutions have no political legitimacy to represent Kosovo in dialogue, we propose two options: First, continuation of dialogue after early elections will lead to creation of legitimate institutions based on their constitutional responsibilities; and second, creation of a broad-based government, which will be tasked to conclude the dialogue and prepare the country for early elections. In both cases the dialogue should be headed with the consent of two third of votes in Parliament,” Hoti wrote.

He also said that one of the principles of the dialogue with Serbia is that unitary character of the state should not be negotiated. “Kosovo should not discuss bargaining of its territories,” he said reminding that Kosovo has declared its independence on 17 February 2008 and the International Court of Justice has ruled that declaration of independence was not in violation with the international law.
