Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with eighth Secretary-General of the United Nations, Chair of the Boao Forum for Asia, President of the Global Green Growth Institute Ban Ki-moon, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.

Expressing gratitude to Ban Ki-moon for the invitation to attend the Boao Forum for Asia, Tokayev pointed out his considerable contribution to the world community while in the post of Secretary-General of the United Nations.

From my point of view, you’re one of the best secretary generals in the history of the United Nations. It was pleasure for and an honor to work in the UN under your leadership for two and a half years, said Tokayev.
