KAZAKHSTAN EXTENDS BAN ON GASOLINE, DIESEL FUEL EXPORT

Kazakhstan extends ban on gasoline, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas exports for six more months, QazMonitor reports citing Kazinform.

According to a joint order issued by the Minister of Energy, Minister of Finance, Minister of Internal Affairs, and Chairman of the National Security Committee, the extension comes into effect on March 29, 2024.

The order enforces a six-month ban on exporting gasoline, diesel fuel, and certain petroleum products from Kazakhstan's territory, including to member states of the Eurasian Economic Union via road transport.
