Kazakhstan supplied 5,000 tons of heating oil humanitarian aid to Dushanbe Central Heating and Power Plant, Asia Plus news agency said.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan Askar Tajibayev on July 4 participated in the handover ceremony of the aid to the Tajik side.

According to the decree of the Kazakh government, a total of 83 tankers of heating oil have been delivered to Tajikistan.

Tajibayev during the ceremony noted that Kazakhstan annually delivers a humanitarian aid to Tajikistan. The total sum of humanitarian aid amounted to $37 million since 2006, he said.
