As part of his working trip to China, Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev met with the representatives of China’s major transport and logistics companies, Kazinform News Agency reports.

In particular, Marat Karabayev met with the representatives of Khorgos International Freight Forwarding Co. Ltd., Xinjiang China European Joint Logistic Company, China Railway No. 2 Engineering Group Co., Ltd., Changjiang Construction Investment Co., Ltd., YTO Express Co., Ltd., Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, China Railway Intermodal Transport Information Technology Co Ltd., and PetroChina International, the press service of the Transport Ministry says.

The meetings discussed the issues of cooperation including the expansion of transport routes, improvement of conditions of transit through the territory of Kazakhstan, as well as introduction of innovative technologies for logistics processes optimization.
