The President of the Republic of Iraq  Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed on Sunday that security challenges call for us to take sides, make agreements and overcome political differences, indicating that the security forces were able to defeat the forces of darkness and terrorism.

The President of the Republic said in a speech on the occasion of the (104) anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi army, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): " We proudly and honorably remember the heroism of the Iraqi army as it confronted the terrorist forces that wanted evil for Iraq," adding that "building a national army capable of facing challenges and rearming it with the latest weapons and equipment must be a top priority."
