Iraq chaired, today, Wednesday, the sessions of the 24th Arab Conference of those responsible for combating terrorism in Tunisia. 

 

The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "this morning, Wednesday, the sessions of the twenty-fourth Arab conference of those responsible for combating terrorism began, headed by the Republic of Iraq, represented by the advisor to the Minister of Interior, human rights team Mahdi Al-Fekiki, who conveyed the greetings and peace of the Minister of Interior Othman. Al-Ghanimi for those present.  

 

In addition to that, "The representatives of the international organizations Interpol, the Arab League, and Naif University for Security Sciences participated in this meeting, to discuss the topics on the agenda prepared by the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers through studies prepared by the Arab Office for Combating Extremism and Terrorism, which is based in Riyadh, with the participation of the ministries of the interior of Arab countries, which also prepared their reports on this subject.
