Iraq's Minister of Justice Khalid Al-Shawani and French Ambassador Patrick Dorrell discussed, on Sunday, completing the procedures for signing a memorandum of understanding in the judicial and legal fields.

A statement by the Ministry of Justice received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): stated that "the Minister of Justice received at the ministry's headquarters, the French Ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Dorrell, and his accompanying delegation, within the framework of strengthening judicial and legal relations between the two countries."

The Minister Shawani stressed during the meeting "Iraq's desire to complete the procedures for signing a memorandum of understanding in the judicial and legal fields, which includes the exchange of convicts and the exchange of experiences between the two countries."
