The Iranian parliament approved the draft bill on the construction of a hydroelectric power plant on the Aras River, the Armenian embassy in Tehran reported.
On April 17, the Iranian parliament decided to start discussions with Armenia on the construction of a hydroelectric power plant on the Aras River.
The project on the construction of the Meghri HPP has been on the agenda of Armenia-Iran economic cooperation for many years.
