The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will head to Greece on Wednesday (June 24th), where him and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will visit the Kastanies area in Evros, at the Greek-Turkish border.

The two men are expected to focus their discussions on the Euro-Turkish relations, with an emphasis on the escalating Turkish delinquency against the EU, including violations against Greece’s sovereign rights and the exploitation of the migrant issue, according to a statement issued by the Greek Foreign Ministry.

Josep Borrell will be received by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at 18:00 (local time) at the Maximos Mansion.
