A new round of the expert level Kosovo dialogue will be held at the EU External Action Service building in Brussels September 26-29.

This round concerns "implementation of the agreement on telecommunications," the Serbian government has announced.

The government noted on its website that the director of the Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, heads the Belgrade delegation. 

A statement added that beside the representatives of the Office tasked with coordinating affairs in the negotiation process with interim institutions of self-government in Pristina, the delegation would include representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the Telekom Srbija company, and the regulatory agency RATEL. 

Kosovo minister in charge of the dialogue with Belgrade Edita Tahiri said on Saturday that Kosovo would during this round on negotiations "get its international calling code," and that it would be "+383." 

Tahiri said that "Serbia will send a letter about it to the International Telecommunication Union, while the unresolved parts concerning some frequencies and licenses will be the topic of the three-day talks" which she said she expects to produce "a final agreement." 

The Office for Kosovo responded by announcing that Tahiri would next week "get only another headache trying to explain another false promise - unless she previously accepts to return Telekom Srbija's property in the province, and provide unimpeded functioning of Telekom's daughter-company in the whole territory of Kosovo and Metohija." 

"Pristina will be given the use of a telephone calling code for the territorial area within the Republic of Serbia when and if we decide so, not when Tahiri or anyone else does," the Office said.
