“Azerbaijan has always felt Turkey’s support and still does,” Azerbaijani Deputy PM Abid Sharifov said at an event dedicated to the anniversary of Turkey’s independence, APA reported.

He said that relations between the two countries are at a high level.

"The two countries are doing their best to make our peoples closer. The mutual support promotes further expansion of ties. Turkey is always with Azerbaijan when it comes to the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. A number of documents were signed during yesterday’s meeting of the High-Level Cooperation Council. These documents will give further impetus to the development of our relations.

The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars lineup, which opened two days ago, is a contribution to stability and economic development. On the basis of this contribution is the unshakeable friendship between Azerbaijan and Turkey," he said.
