The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) plans to hold exercises in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan in 2024, Colonel-General Anatoly Sidorov, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, said at a briefing in Moscow.

“The plan for 2024 places emphasis on the Central Asian region of collective security,” he said.

Sidorov clarified that it is planned to conduct exercises with collective rapid reaction forces in Kyrgyzstan, with peacekeeping contingents in Kazakhstan, and with rapid deployment forces in the Central Asian region in Tajikistan.
