The Zagreb State Attorney's Office received a criminal complaint against famous Croatian singer Josipa Lisac for the crime of violating Croatia's reputation while performing the National Anthem at President Milanovic's inauguration. The application was submitted by Bosko Zupanovic, owner of Liburnija.com portal, from Opatija, because he believes that the way of performing by Josipa Lisac has been mocking the Republic of Croatia – Dalmatinski portal writes.

In his reasoning, Zupanovic states that Lisac used mock articulations and tonalities that, despite her peculiar musical oeuvre and expression, are not socially acceptable. Zupanovic claims that for the person whose mother tongue is Croatian, she must have known that such a form of intonation in the Croatian language and culture was always used through forms of public mockery or disparaging imitation of one's statement, recitation or musical or compositional expression.

The performance of this famous Croatian diva has been one of the most commented details after the inauguration. While some find it deep, artistic and special, others see it as mockery as performance not worth of the National Anthem. Listen to it below and share your opinion!
