Bulgaria on Wednesday declared two Russian diplomats accredited in the country as "persona non grata."

The diplomats have been given 72 hours to leave the country, and the details have been shared with the Russian Embassy in Bulgarian capital Sofia, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

The Russian officials were allegedly "collecting state secret information about Bulgaria to deliver it to another country.”
