The First Deputy Speaker of the parliament, Hakim Al-Zamili, called today, Thursday, for activating the Military Industrialization Authority Law.

Al-Zamili media office said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Zamili received today in his office the head of the Military Industrialization Authority, Muhammad Sahib Al-Daraji."

Al-Zamili said, according to the statement, "Iraq owns a number of companies specialized in military industries, and a large number of national expertise, which qualifies us to start the industrialization phase to meet part of the needs of our security services that still depend on what is secured through imports, which unfortunately costs our budgets large sums of money ."
