KAZAKHSTAN STARTS TRANSPORTATION OF RUSSIAN OIL TO UZBEKISTAN

Kazakhstan's KazTransOil has started transportation of Russia's oil to Uzbekistan.

 

KazTransOil plans to transport up to 80,000 tons of Russian oil via its pipeline to Uzbekistan by the end of 2017, the Director General of KazTransOil Dimash Dosanov said.

 

"According to the schedule of oil supplies, in November the volume of transit will be 30,000 tons. By the end of 2017, it is planned to transport up to 80,000 tons of raw materials along this route,” Sputnik Kazakhstan cited Dosanov as saying.

 

He added that the oil will be pumped through the pipeline to Shagyr oil loading point, where it will be poured into railway tanks and then transported by rail to Uzbekistan.
