Speaker: Dr. Jakub KOREJBA (Journalist)
We are pleased to invite you to the conference titled “New Role of Turkey in A Changing Eastern Europe: A Polish Perspective” that will be held on 13 October 2022 between 14:00-15:30.
The war Russia started in Ukraine is a turning-point in contemporary history, the outcome of which will dramatically change the political landscape of Central and Eastern Europe, its internal structure and role in the continental system.
Poland, forced by circumstances, finds itself in a position of a country responsible for elaborating the conception as well as the implementation of a post-war regional order and perceives Turkey as an important actor that could help shaping the new order between the Baltic and Black seas.
Dr. Jakub Korejba, in this conference, will analyze internal (in both Russia and Ukraine), regional, continental and global factors which influence the process of shaping a New Eastern Europe as well as provide a discussion on the following questions: What is the place of northern vector in Turkish Foreign Policy? Is Turkey perceiving itself as an active player in Eastern Europe? What is the Turkish vision of a new regional order? How does Ankara see its relations with both post-war Ukraine and post-war Russia?
We will be looking forward to your participation in this event to be held on 13 October 2022, Thursday.
The conference will be in English. There will be no translation service.
