Odabaşı graduated from the Department of History at Middle East Technical University in 2025 with a thesis titled "The Development of Ekâbir Politics: Political Transformation in the 17th Century Ottoman Empire." He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in the same department. Since December 2025, he has been serving as a Scholar in Residence at AVİM. His research interests include Iran, Central Asia, and Corridors.
