
On 25 November Thursday, Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) and Kyiv-based Ukrainian Institute for the Future (UIF) jointly organized an online panel discussion with the title “Black Sea Cooperation in the New Eurasian Geopolitical Environment.”
UIF analysts Iliya Kusa and Dr. Andrian Prokip from Ukraine and AVİM Senior Analyst Dr. Turgut Kerem Tuncel and Assoc. Prof. Dr Ayça Ergun from Middle East Technical University (Department of Sociology and Center For Black Sea and Central Asia) discussed political, security, and trade and economic issues, while emphasizing Black Sea region’s place within the wider global geopolitical context.
The online panel discussion was also attended by Ambassador of Turkey to Ukraine Ahmet Yağmur Güldere and Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar. The ambassadors, together with AVİM and UIF directors, contributed to the discussion with their opening remarks.
The online panel discussion was finalized with the Q&A session.
