Council of Europe (23 March 2018)

Today, in Strasbourg, in the presence of the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Ms Gabriella Bataini-Dragoni, Mr Petar POP-ARSOV Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of “The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” to the Council of Europe,  deposited the instrument of ratification in respect of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (CETS No.210).

The Convention will enter into force, as regards “The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” on 1 July 2018.

“The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” becomes the 29th State to ratify the Convention
