KYRGYZSTAN RECEIVED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND DRUGS FOR $2.2 MILLION UNDER WORLD BANK PROJECT

The funds for the purchase of medical devices, medicines, equipment were approved under the World Bank project. The amount has been approved, Deputy Prime Minister Erkin Asrandiyev said at the briefing on July 10.

“Some of the funds have already been transferred, tenders have been held, the republic received medical supplies, medicines and equipment worth $2.2 million. There is an advance payment, the amounts are paid for the contracts, but we do not consider them used, because in fact they did not arrive in Kyrgyzstan”, he said.

According to him, all tenders under the World Bank ERIK project are held according to the requirements of the World Bank, under their control and by agreement.
