A meeting of the Ministers of Health of the Central Asian countries was held at the the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN in Geneva with participation of WHO Regional Director for Europe Dr. Hans Kluge, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan said.

The Health Ministers discussed relevant issues and areas of cooperation, including development and promotion of the One Health concept in the Central Asian region, regional health care initiatives, and the Roadmap for Health and Well-Being in Central Asia 2022-2025.

WHO Regional Director Dr. Hans Kluge expressed support for Central Asia as a priority region, including in the joint development and implementation of the Roadmap for Health and Well-Being in Central Asia 2022–2025.
