Governor of Kyrgyzstan’s Batken Oblast Omurbek Suvanaliyev held a phone talk with Chairman of Sughd Region of Tajikistan Rajabboy Ahmadzoda and Governor of Uzbekistan’s Ferghana Province Khayrullo Bozarov.

The press service of the Kyrgyz Government reported that the heads of border regions discussed the strengthening of cooperation in trade, economic and cultural areas, as well as the strengthening of good neighborly relations and friendship of border nations.

The sides also agreed to maintain public security in the border area, prevent conflicts and solve problems jointly.

A work plan on the cooperation of Batken Oblast with Sughd Region and Ferghana Province is being developed.

Immediately after the adoption of the work plan, the parties agreed to strengthen economic cooperation at the bilateral level.
