Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration Akylbek Zhaparov met with Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters Alexander Kurenkov.

During the meeting, issues of interaction between the rescue departments of the two countries, coordination of actions in emergency situations, primarily in natural disasters, were discussed.

“The recent large-scale devastating earthquake in Turkiye shocked us all and changed the values of all mankind. Trouble comes, regardless of location, nationality or citizenship. During emergencies, political, economic, religious and other priorities go by the wayside. We are all guided by the principle of humanity. On all topical issues of ensuring the protection of the population and territory from the effects of natural disasters and man-made disasters, fruitful cooperation is currently being carried out between the relevant departments of the two countries,” Akylbek Zhaparov said.
