A good business climate is being created in Kosovo, said the president of the country, Hashim Thaci during the meeting that he had with the chairman of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Safet Gerxhaliu. President Thaci has thanked the Chamber for the engagement in the private sector, by offering full support and cooperation as president of the country. “We have long cooperated together and you will continue to have my full support as president of the country. You’re here along with the people who have given strength to the economic development of Kosovo, which have created thousands of jobs and have increased the wellbeing of the citizens of the country. What makes us feel good today is the fact that a good business climate is being created in Kosovo and I believe that institutions must be closer to businesses and that businesses must be closer to institutions in the sense of a strong partnership”, President Thaci said. Meanwhile, the head of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Safet Gerxhaliu, after thanking president Thaci for his presence in the opening of “Pristina 2016” fair, said that it has been a testimony for the business community that economic development and improvement of the image of Kosovo is Thaci’s priority. President Thaci said that the role of the business community is irreplaceable for the opening of new opportunities in the new Kosovo, especially after the signing of SAA.
